Why Sinter Hydraulics
Real Engineering. Real Impact.
At Sinter Hydraulics, you're not maintaining legacy systems or shipping incremental software updates. You're designing and building machines that shape metal, compress composites, and form products used by hundreds of millions of people worldwide.
Our engineering team designs from first principles — every press starts with a customer's application requirements and ends with a machine spec that has to perform in a production environment for 15+ years. That demands precision thinking, deep domain knowledge, and pride in craftsmanship.
We invest in our people: structured learning programmes, cross-department rotations, factory visit trips to customer sites, and a culture where the shop floor and the design office work side by side.
More Than a Job

Current Openings
Own the hydraulic and structural design of our 60–3000 Ton press platforms — from concept and calculation through detailed drawings released to the shop floor. You will work alongside production and R&D to turn customer requirements into robust, manufacturable machines.
Key Responsibilities
- Design hydraulic circuits, cylinders, power packs and manifolds and size components against duty cycle and tonnage.
- Produce 3D models and GD&T-compliant fabrication drawings for frames, bolsters and moving platens.
- Perform structural and FEA checks on press frames and validate deflection within specification.
- Support prototype build, commissioning and first-article testing; close out design issues.
- Maintain a reusable component library and drive design-for-manufacture improvements.
Requirements
- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 5–10 years in heavy machinery or hydraulic press design.
- Strong command of SolidWorks / AutoCAD and hydraulic system fundamentals.
- Working knowledge of IS / ISO / CE machine-safety and design standards.
- Ability to read the shop floor and design parts that are practical to fabricate and assemble.
What We Offer
A senior seat on a small, high-ownership engineering team, exposure across the full product range, and clear technical-lead progression.
Bring our presses to life with reliable control and automation. You will program, wire and commission PLC/HMI systems for hydraulic presses and integrate them into customer production lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and debug PLC logic and HMI screens (Siemens / Delta / Mitsubishi) for press sequences and safety interlocks.
- Design control panels, I/O schematics and wiring in coordination with the electrical team.
- Commission machines in-house and at customer sites, tuning pressure, position and cycle timing.
- Implement servo / proportional valve control and sensor feedback loops.
- Prepare operation manuals and train customer operators and maintenance staff.
Requirements
- Diploma / B.E. in Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation with 3–6 years in industrial automation.
- Hands-on PLC programming and HMI development experience; ladder and function-block logic.
- Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic actuation and machine-safety circuits.
- Willingness to travel for commissioning (typically 20–30%).
What We Offer
End-to-end ownership of the control system on machines you help build, plus travel exposure to diverse industries and plants.
