100T Fish Bait Powder Block Press 1
Fish Bait Powder Block: Hydraulic Press Machine

100T Four Column Hydraulic Press for Fish Bait Powder Block

A Fish Bait Powder Block Forming 4-Column Hydraulic Press Machine is a specialized heavy-duty industrial compaction system engineered to compress fish meal, ground bait formulas, or organic attractant powders into dense, uniform solid blocks, chum blocks, or feed tablets.

These machines are utilized in commercial fishing equipment manufacturing, sportfishing supply production, and aquaculture feed fabrication, where loose organic powders must be consolidated to ensure slow dissolution rates in water, easy handling, and optimal scent dispersion.

01 — Engineering Considerations

Structural Design & Engineering Considerations (4-Column Architecture)

High-Precision Guidance & Parallelism: Organic and coarse meal powders require strict control over compaction uniformity to prevent structural weak points or density gradients. The four-pillar precision-ground column architecture ensures absolute platen parallelism and eliminates lateral play, preventing uneven wall pressures and ensuring consistent block density.

Rigid Load Distribution: Compacting fine fish meal and binder blends into high-strength blocks requires continuous, balanced tonnage. The 4-column frame withstands heavy cyclic loads without structural flexing, maintaining exact micro-tolerances between the punches and the die cavity over long operational lifespans.

Hygiene & Corrosion Resistance: Because fish meal and bait powders contain natural oils, moisture, and organic compounds, press tooling, die walls, and contact surfaces are engineered with food-grade stainless steel or corrosion-resistant alloy steels to ensure easy sanitation and prevent material contamination.

03 — Operational Workflow

Operational Workflow

  1. Enclosed Volumetric Feeding: An automated, sealed feed shoe slides precisely over the die cavity to deposit a measured volume of loose fish bait powder mix, minimizing airborne dust and ensuring uniform fill density.
  2. Multi-Stage Compression:
    1. Fast Approach: The top ram lowers quickly to the material surface.
    2. High-Pressure Compaction: The system applies controlled tonnage. A multi-action or dual-punch configuration ensures even particle interlocking and density distribution throughout the depth of the block.
  3. Dwell Phase: Peak pressure is held for a set duration to allow trapped air to evacuate and the organic particles to firmly bond together, minimizing internal stress or crumbling.
  4. Controlled Decompression & Ejection: Hydraulic pressure is gradually bled off to prevent surface cracking from elastic springback. A bottom ejection cylinder then cleanly pushes the solid bait block out of the die cavity for downstream drying, wrapping, or packaging.
